When I went to OnStage I was given this set in the prize patrol. It has been sitting on my shelf and I haven’t been inspired to use it – until now!!
I had no idea how to use the layers for the flamingo, so I watched a few videos on Youtube to get an idea of how to do it. I based my card on a video I watched from Wendy Cranford.
I brayered the Whisper White cardstock in Balmy Blue, Lemon Lime Twist and Flirty Flamingo, blending the colours into each other. I then stamped the flamingo in Powder Pink, Flirty Flamingo and outlining it in Basic Black. I added some effects to the water with Balmy blue and stamped the reeds in Lemon Lime Twist and added a sentiment to the bottom.
I placed the card front on Balmy Blue cardstock. I was quite excited with the results and now I want to try it again at some point and improve on my layering!!
