Day 11 had a long narrow opening and inside was gold glitter glue!!! I think the last time I used glitter glue was doing craft with the grandchildren!!
I slept on it (not literally!) overnight before coming up with some ideas next day!! I thought of all the Stampin Up! masking stencils I had in one of my drawers and thought it might make a cool background. I had first thought about using dies, but realised that wouldn’t work!!. I had a snowflake stencil, and using a palate knife, I put some glitter glue on it. Wow!! I was impressed!! I tried another one and then thought about using blending brushes to add a background before adding the glitter glue, so I used Balmy Blue, Pool Party and Azure Afternoon. I loved the effect that it gave!
I proceeded to cut these into smaller pieces and added them to the cards with some layers. On the snowflake cards I also used some Gold foil and gold embossing.
I then thought of using the Layers of Beauty masks. so I started off with Pretty in Pink and Granny Apple Green. When it came to using the last mask (#5) I just used a think layer of Gold Glitter Glue. Again I loved how it turned out. It added a little sparkle. Sadly my Glitter Glue was running out, but can you imagine other colours . They would look great on some of the DSP we have.
