12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar: 2025: Day 12

I was bit sad that this was my last day, as I have had so much fun creating with these unseen products. All I can say is, I really hope Stampin Up! bring out something similar next year!!

Day 12 had some beautiful white embossed images (daisies and flowers) – keeping the theme alive! It also had some laser cut wreaths, circles, leaves and so on.

For my first card, I used a little Azure Afternoon and a little Night of Navy on a blending brush on the daisy pattern. I added a wreath to this with the sentiment fussy cut in the centre. The base of the card is Basic White and there is a Night of Navy layer as well under the embossed layer. I embossed it with the Beautiful Patterns Embossing folder. It is a very elegant and simple card.

My next attempt was to watercolour the embossed images on the other design. I used the same colours as the DSP on Day 2 as the pattern is reminiscent of the patterns on these. I used a Waterbrush, Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Darling Donkey and Granny Apple Green. I loved the effect the watercolouring gave to the paper. To set it off, I added three layers under it – the first in Cloud Cover, then Secret Sea followed by Granny Apple Green. This was all placed on a Basic White base. I then used blends to colour some of the die cuts to add to the side. The sentiment was inked up in Versamark, followed by Darling Duckling. I then clear embossed it and heat set it. I added a bow with the twine from Day 8 and some rhinestone basic jewels.

And so finishes the 12 days of Christmas Advent calendar for 2025. I still have some things left, so they will be used up in the future. It has been fun sharing these with you all. I hope you get inspiration from what I have done.
