Day 9 window contained some Memories and More type cards in some of the patterns from Day 2, as well as some new patterns and also some die-cuts.
I first made a card (not with the papers) to see how it would turn out, and if I was happy with it I would then substitute the Day 9 materials. I used Night of Navy and Basic White and I added highlight strips in Shy Shamrock. I used different embossing folders on these strips to add dimension to the card.
Then on to the card with Day 9!! I used Misty Moonlight and Cloud Cover and added a small strip of the patterned paper to it that was cut using a retired punch ‘Pick a Banner’. Birthday Wishes from the stamp set was stamped in Misty Moonlight and cut in a similar way added on top with some gold gems.
For the second card, I used Basic White as the base and added a layer of Basic White that I had embossed in Damask Designs. I then used a blending Brush with Pretty in Pink before adding two of the small cards on top and a die-cut bow. The darker pink was embossed in the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder. The sentiment is also stamped in Pretty in Pink and another die cut was added to it along with some gems and some of the twine from Day 8.
What fun it has been working on these!!
