I have had this set for quite a while as it was in last year’s catalogue and was carried over. I haven’t used it very much but wanted to highlight some things you could do with it. It co-ordinates with the Eastern Medallion Thinlit dies from the Annual Catalogue.
For this card, I used some inspiration from the Annual Catalogue but ended up doing something quite different. I used the dies to cut the pattern on the Whisper White cardstock. I then stamped some of the patterns in Balmy Blue and added some Glimmer Paper behind it. I added a small piece of the glimmer paper on the bottom and added a sentiment in Balmy Blue. The card front was then placed on Dapper Denim cardstock (retired).
I added some basic rhinestones to create some detail. It was totally different from what I started out to do. I had planned to stamp the centre of the medallion in balmy blue but ended up doing minimal stamping on this one!
