A few months ago I attended a workshop on the Black Ice technique with Marelle Taylor and have been keen to try it again. In the meantime I have been looking on Pinterest for inspiration and ideas. Thanks to Melissa’s Crafting Treehouse I was inspired to try this one.
The card is created on Silver Foil using Basic Black ink and I used the oak tree from the “Rooted in Nature’ Stamp set. Once the stamp was dry, I used Clear Versamark over the top and dusted on some clear embossing powder before heat setting it. I tied a piece of Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon on the card (now retired)
The card was mounted on Basic Black and Grey Granite and I added some Basic Rhinestones.
