I decided to make two different cards from this set – one for today and one for tomorrow. It co-ordinates with the Seasonal Layers Thinlits.
For the first one, I use Crumb Cake card for the base of this one. It fits beautifully with the Wood Textures Designer Paper from the Annual Catalogue.
I then cut out some autumn leaves in various autumn shades and placed them on top of a piece of Burlap ribbon. I worked out how much of them I wanted to show behind the sentiment before gluing them all down.
Using the Oval Stitched Framelits, I added the sentiment on top in Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.
I made a similar card for my husband’s birthday last year, but used a Happy birthday sentiment from another set for it. Great for males!!
This card could be used as a sympathy card, or just to send to someone who you are thinking about!
