Two and a half weeks ago I had a nasty fall and needed an elbow replacement as well as facial reconstruction. The main fall out has been blurred vision and being one handed!! So being part of the blog this month has been a little bit of a challenge for me, but a challenge that I felt I needed to accept! And I am reasonably happy with the outcome of these cards.
I used Pressed Petals DSP
with Rococo Rose and Very Vanilla Cardstock for one card and Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla Cardstock for the other one. I used the reverse side of the DSP for contrast and added a Pressed Petals Washi tape flower on the bottom right hand corner of the first one.
In the second one I used a different colour and a sentiment from the Well Said Stamp set for the sentiment.
I’d intended the sentiment to be horizontal, but my eyes play tricks on me and while I thought it was straight, it didn’t quite work out that way!!! I stamped it with Mossy Meadow Ink and sponged the edges and cut it out using the Scallop Circle Punch and added an embellishment.
Great to have been able to take up the challenge this month. Enjoy browsing through all the different entries!
