10th Birthday card

I have come back to the ‘World of Good Suite‘ for another card. My grandson turns 10 on Sunday and he is fascinated by anything to do with the world and nature. I decided to leave dinos, dragons etc behind and make him a card that he could enjoy into the future!

It is a spinner card like my other one on an earlier post, but this time it is in the centre of the card and when you open it, the centre panel pops out and the globe spins.

I used the Old World Embossing Folder on the Brass foil for the front of the card with an offcut of some of the World of Good specialty DSP for the centre panel. I also put his age on it in Brass foil using the retired number dies.

The base of the card is Misty Moonlight and inside is a piece of Cinnamon Cider with some DSP on it. The globe is made the same way as the other card on my earlier blog. I added some Very Vanilla embossed in Gold embossing powder for the inside sentiments. One is from the Beautiful World stamp set and the other from Itty Bitty Birthdays.

The card itself is 14.85cm square. It was fun to make and now that I have mastered the spinner technique, I think there may be more in the future!!!
