Fine Art Floral DSP: Day 17

I gave myself a challenge to make myself a few cards that use DSP which I have, but have not bought the stamp set yet.

As part of my shares that we have every time there is a new catalogue, I used the beautiful Fine Art Floral DSP and stamps that I already have. The cards are very simple. I did use the Painted Texture embossing folder.

The first card uses Flirty Flamingo card stock. It is CASED from Pinterest and was created by Carol Payne stamps. I layered the base with the same colour after I had run it through the embossing folder. I added the DSP which had been layered on Basic White. Before gluing it down I added the Crinkle White ribbon.

The sentiment is retired and was from a set called Sending you Thoughts. It is stamped on Basic White and layered on Flirty Flamingo. Then punched it out with the retired Pretty Label punch. Some rhinestone basic jewels were added to give it some sparkle!

The second card is CASED from Karen Henderson of Furry Cat Designs. I used Gray Granite as the base and the top layer was embossed with the Painted Texture Folder. It shares the front of the card with the DSP. I used Pretty Peacock for the sentiment and it was cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly dies after being embossed in Versamark and White embossing powder. It is layered on the Fine Art Ribbon.

I am thrilled that I could use this DSP to create these simple cards and see a class coming up!
