I had some of the Snail Mail DSP and decided to make a fun birthday card with it. We call it Snail Mail and at the moment, due to Covid, it sometimes feel like Snail Mail!!!
This is very cute paper and I thought it would also make a great card for my piano students. The Snail Mail DSP is layered on Blushing Bride that I have embossed using the Scripty folder. It is then mounted on a base of Mint Macaron.
The sentiment is from Oval Occasions and is cut out with the Double Oval Punch. The first layer is Basic Black and then I stamped the sentiment on Basic White with Memento Black ink. I added some dimensionals to the back of the sentiment.
I added a piece of Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon to the card and some fussy cut snails moving across it! I then added some of the toadstools to the front and inside of the card with another piece of the DSP. Wink of Stella was used to give it some sparkle!
Sometimes you need to think outside the box when you don’t have the whole set, but as you can see, you can make it work!!!
