A Touch of Ink and Love You Always DSP: Day 21

I was inspired to recreate these cards when I saw them on Pinterest. They were made by Rachel Woolard and I fell in love with this idea. I will often CASE someone to get me into the groove of creating my own cards.

Both card bases are Basic White and I glued the Love You Always DSP in strips on to it. I then used the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut out two rectangles in Basic White.

A touch of Ink is a beautiful stamp set and has a lot of possibilities. Both rectangles were embossed in Versamark and Silver Embossing powder. I then coloured them in using a Water Painter and Blushing Bride and Old Olive ink on one and Rococo Rose and Old Olive ink on the other. The humming bird and Butterfly were also embossed, water coloured and fussy cut so that I could raise them on dimensionals to give depth to the card.

The sentiment is embossed and cut out with the smallest Stitched So Sweetly rectangle. I then added some basic rhinestones to this before placing it on the front of the card.
