Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #27

This month we had a sketch as our starting point for our creating. When I saw the January – June Mini Catalogue, there were two sets I fell in love with immediately! One was Hydrangea Hill Suite and the other was Sand and Sea Suite. When they arrived at my place I immediately got Hydrangea Hill out and salivated over the DSP.

For this challenge I used the DSP as the focus of my card. The base of the card is Seaside Spray and I added a first layer of Basic White. I actually added some white embossing to this using Versamark and White Embossing Powder. I had thought about lightly inking this in blue but decided to leave it as it is.

Both layers of Hydrangea Hill DSP are layered on Misty Moonlight. The sentiment is stamped in Misty Moonlight ink and layered on the same card stock. Both were cut out with the Layered Circles.

I added some of the beautiful Pastel Pearls to this. I love these and the classic look they give to any card. I hope you enjoy this card and the others in this blog hop.
