Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #42

This month we have been given the challenge to use the following colours: Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam and our choice of one of the new In Colours from the 2022-2023 Catalogue. I decided to use Sweet Sorbet and chose the Hues of Happiness Bundle, Natural Prints and Eden dies.

I began with a Thick Basic White card base and used the border die from Eden Dies to cut the front panel. I added a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock that I had stamped in Petal Pink with the small flowers from Hues of Happiness. This was glued in place behind the decorative border.

The wreath was die cut from Soft Sea Foam . I then stamped some of the leaves and flowers in Memento Black on Basic White card stock. These were coloured with Soft Sea Foam and Petal Pink markers. The larger flowers were coloured using a Water Painter and the Sweet Sorbet stamp pad. This way I was able to control how much ink I put on the petals. I added a little bit of Gilded Leafing to some of the large flowers and highlighted all the flowers with Wink of Stella.

The flowers were then die cut from the Blossoming Happiness dies. My final job was to place all of them on the wreath on the front of the card. I did this placement before I finally glued them in place. That way I could change the placement. I added some Pearl Basic Jewels and placed the sentiment on Mini Dimensionals. This had been stamped in Versamark and Sweet Sorbet and I used Clear Embossing Powder to give the sentiment a shine. It was cut out freehand and placed across the centre of the card.

I hope you like what I made and I look forward to seeing what others have created with their colour combination.
