This month we had a sketch to base our card on. I decided to use Happy Forest Friends Designer Series Paper for this one and was inspired to use the sketch in a slightly different way!
I glued the DSP to a white card base on the front and centre inside. I then cut out a circle from the front part and placed a piece of the same DSP behind this cut out circle, using the rear side of the DSP on the left hand side to add some contrast.
One of the bears from the same DSP was cut out and put behind the open circle.
I added two strips of Old Olive and Mossy Meadow on the lower part of the card and a thin circle of Old Olive around the circle to highlight it.
I used two sentiments from A Grand Kid to the card. It is my granddaughter’s birthday this month so I thought this would be a perfect card for her.
Hope you like my take on this sketch!
