Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #46

Welcome to our Blog Hop for September. This month we had a layout challenge. I have fallen in love with the Texture Chic Suite. It is really versatile, as you can use it for any season of the year. Since we are coming into the warmer days (hopefully!), I thought I’d make a ‘beachy’ card. I love walking on the edge of the shore and exploring all the different shells that you can find.

For the base of the card, I used Petal Pink cardstock and then added a layer of Textured Chic DSP. I used one of the Split Card Texture dies to add more depth to the DSP. I then stamped and die cut some shells using the Season of Chic stamp set and Chic dies. I used Basic white cardstock for two of the shells. I stamped one shell in Petal Pink and the other in Versamark with Gold embossing powder. The third shell was cut out of Gold Foil. I used the negative pieces from this one to add to the background and some gold thread for more interest.

The sentiment is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed using Gold Embossing powder and cut out using one of the Labels Aglow dies. These were all added to the card with multipurpose glue and mini dimensionals and then added a few Elegant Faceted Gems.

I hope you like what I have done with this. If you haven’t got this suite, I encourage you to purchase it because there are so many possibilities for creating with it.
