This month for our Blog Hop, the theme is ‘Anything Goes’.
I love some of the new colours in the new catalogue and anyone who knows me will know that my favourite colour is Blue and any shades of Blue into Teal.
I decided to use Cheerful Daisies for this blog Hop. The base is Azure Afternoon and I have layered a piece of the Cheerful Daisies DSP on top of Night of Navy and then layered die cuts from the Cheerful Daisy dies in Night of Navy and Basic White on the DSP. I added the sentiment from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp set. It was stamped in Versamark and heat embossed in White. I used a mixture of Multi purpose glue and Mini Dimensionals to adhere this in place. I then added some Basic Pearl Jewels to the front and used a little bit of Night of Navy in the centre of each flower. The flowers are highlighted in Wink of Stella.
I love the effect of this card and its simplicity. All the leaves from the die were used including the negative images from the leaves. I am now keen to try this effect in different colours.
