I decided I had enough of stamp sets sitting on my shelf and not being used, so my project for January is to try and use a different current set each day and see what happens!!
Today I chose ‘A Little Wild’ from the current Annual catalogue. This is a very cute set and would be suitable for making baby cards, gift tags and so on. I chose the baby bear and the bees. There is also an elephant and a lion in the set.
My purpose in doing this project is to try and use up my scraps and make the stamping as simple as possible.
I used Basic Black ink and then coloured in the design using watercolour pencils. I added a little bit of clear ‘Wink of Stella’ to highlight the bees, sky and flowers. Colouring is not my forte but I am happy with the results!
