I have had this set for a while but never have used it. I kept putting off using it because I wondered what I could use it for apart from a wedding card. It coordinates with the Detailed Floral Thinlit Dies and it is absolutely beautiful.
I chose Night of Navy as the base of my card and cut the cardstock in half (10.5X29.6cm). I then used the dies to cut either end of the piece and then worked out where I wanted to score the card.
I used some Whisper White cardstock for the inside of the card and stamped the sentiments and floral pattern from the set on this. When I was removing the die-cut pieces I noticed there were two tiny daisies and decided to use them on the inside.
I had some tiny pearls that have been discontinued that I used in the centre of the flowers and then I adhered the white to the navy base.
I love the effect. This would make a beautiful Mother’s Day card too.
