The challenge this month was to use three of the new colours to design a project. My three assigned colours were Pretty Peacock, Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray I also used the beautiful new Perennial Essence DSP for my cards. For the first card, the base was Pretty Peacock. I then attached a piece of Perennial Essence DSP to a layer of Seaside Spray that I had embossed in the Subtle 3D folder. The sentiment was from the ‘Free as a bird’ stamp set and was stamped in Pretty Peacock on Very Vanilla Cardstock and punched out with the Pretty Label punch. The was layered on a piece of Rococo Rose and I used some Whisper White Flax ribbon as another layer and some diamanté’s. Inside the card I I used Very vanilla, Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray to layer a small piece of the Perennial Essence DSP and stamped ‘Thank you’ from the ‘Free as a Bird’ stamp set. The second card is a tri fold card using the same colours and the Perennial Essence DSP. The sentiments and die cuts are from the ‘Well Said’ Stamp set and ‘Well Written’ Dies. I also used Rose glimmer paper for the birthday sentiment.
