I was given this stamp set at OnStage last November and have been slow to getting around to using it. I decided to use it in conjunction with the Postage Punch for today’s card.
The base of the card is Garden Green and I cut a small strip from the front. I then cut some DSP from Sale-a-bration. I didn’t glue it down yet. For those of you who do not know what Sale-a-bration is, here is a brief explanation –
Sale-a-bration at Stampin’ Up happens a couple of times each year. When you have ordered $90 or more of goods, you are allowed to choose a free product from the Sale-a-bration catalogue whilst the promotion lasts. There are quite a few to choose from so it is worth taking a look!
The DSP is called Paper Blooms. I stamped some of the seed pods from Enjoy the Moment on Whisper White card stock in Versamark and gold embossed it and set it with the heat tool. I then punched them out using the Postage punch. I sponged the edges with Garden Green ink and place these on the DSP. I added a piece of gold thread to this before I glued it to the card base.
The inside of the card is Pear Pizzazz. I used the sentiment and some Enjoy the Moment stamps in Garden Green to the right hand side of this piece, so it shows and glued it to the inside of the card. I really like the effect and there is still plenty of room to write a personal greeting inside the card.
