This month for our Blog Hop, we had a sketch on which to base our card. This past weekend I was playing with the Waves of the Ocean suite. I had bought this several weeks ago but it arrived the day I was leaving to go overseas for a funeral, so the suite had to wait until my return.
I love blues, so the colours in this suite are a delight for me to play with. I used the DSP as the main focus of the card. This was placed on Pacific Point and a base of Coastal Cabana. The sentiment was stamped with Versamark and embossed and heat set with white embossing powder. This sentiment is from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set (included in the suite). I used a stitched rectangle to cut this out and placed it with dimensionals on the card.
I added some of the Coastal Cabana foil (part of the suite) as a wave detail. This was die cut from the Waves dies (included with the suite) and placed it behind the sentiment. I then added some of the Ocean gems (also part of the suite) to the DSP.
I hope you like what I have done for this blog.
