Stamper’s Anonymous Blog Hop #51

This month we have had a new challenge that I don’t think we have done before! It is called ‘Tic Tac Toe’. Like the game you need to get three in a row – horizontally, vertically or diagonally. I have used Heat Embossing, Designer Series Paper and Dies for my challenge.

Two of my grandchildren start High school this year, so I thought I would make them a card to celebrate new beginnings. This card is for my granddaughter.

I used the ‘Rain or Shine’ DSP. It has cute animals and these can even be cut out (hence the die cutting!) I decided to use the turtle for her. The ‘Rain or Shine’ suite comes with a stamp set, dies, DSP, Embossing folder and embellishments.

I made a slim line card. I first cut a piece of Basic White cardstock and, using blending brushes, I coloured it in Balmy Blue and Old Olive. I then stamped some flowers from the stamp set in Memento Black and coloured them in using Daffodil Delight and Old Olive Blender pens.

I placed the die cut turtles on the front of the card on dimensionals and added a sentiment in Basic Black cardstock that I heat embossed in Versamark and white. It is from the stamp set ‘Celebrating You’. I added some of the cute flower embellishments to this using glue dots.

The front of the card was mounted on Mossy Meadow Cardstock on a Balmy Blue Base.

The inside of the card has a Basic White insert with a strip of the Rain or Shine DSP on it. I think it is very cute!! I also made one for my grandson with Hedgehogs along similar lines.

I hope you enjoy looking through everyone’s blog and find lots of inspiration!
