This month we had three colours to play with – Gorgeous Grape, Calypso Coral and Lemon Lime Twist. The day before the blog hop goes live I hope to use Translucent Florals in my Facebook Live, so I have been playing around with the stamp set and dies.
This is a returning bundle and I know I did not use it enough first time around so am planning to remedy that! In one of my earlier blogs I had used it inside a 6 x 6 frame (9 September last year), but this time I stamped directly on to white cardstock and water-coloured the flowers a little bit and added a very light background.
The image was cut out using the second largest Deckled Rectangle and then placed on a Gorgeous Grape piece of cardstock cut out with the largest rectangle. These were placed together using dimensionals.
I wrapped a piece of White twine and coloured another white piece with a little Lemon Lime Twist to the lower part of the image and placed the whole thing on a thick Basic White base. I then used Wink of Stella to highlight the card – tapping the Wink of Stella so little droplets landed on the card. It was hard to photograph this but I think you can see it a little bit. A sentiment from the same set was added to the bottom and raised up on dimensionals.
