In the January/June catalogue, you will discover this gem!! I love the colours and the joy of this set. I began to explore how to use this to create some cards and 3D objects over the next few weeks. The Designer Series Paper is beautiful – both sides of it and perfect for card making, scrapbooking and making bags etc.
This week on my Facebook Live I have created some cards. Some of these have been inspired by other demonstrators, such as Cyndi’s Stamp Spot and Terri Gaines. I have added my own twist on some of these and created some other cards as well.
One of the DSP sheets lends itself to making beautiful tags (they all do!!) but I was inspired by Cyndi’s tag on a card for my first one today. I added my own twist to it although it is very similar.
The second card I created is really simple, allowing the DSP to tell the story of the card. I added a gold punch label and some stamping. I think the simplicity of the card tells its own story in many ways.
My other cards use the ephemera and the book binder fold. I plan to create more of these as they are an easy way to quickly create something for your friends.
Don’t forget you don’t have to post cards to give them to someone. Just handing a card to someone is just as special!. Always keep one or two in your bag!!!!
