Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #33

This month for our blog hop we had a colour challenge using the colours Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. These are three of the new 21-22 In Colours. I am pretty much in love with the new In Colours and find myself using them a lot!

For this challenge I used the Meadow Dies – also a favourite of mine. I die cut some flowers in Basic White and coloured them using the Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent Blends. One of the wonderful things about the blends is that we have Light and Dark in each colour and depending on how you use them, you can make it look like you are using different colours. More layers make it darker and less make it lighter.

For the body of the card, I embossed a piece of Basic White cardstock with the Tasteful Textures folder and cut it into three strips and layered them on Evening Evergreen cardstock. This was then layered on Soft Succulent cardstock and the die cuts placed on the strips.

I used the blending brushes to add a little soft succulent and pale papaya ink to the white strips and tied some Soft Succulent ribbon around it before layering it on a base of Basic White Thick Cardstock.

When I was doing this card, I did some experimenting with the colours before I came up with this card for the blog. Below are a couple of pictures of other cards that I created as well.
