I was inspired to make this card from the Sand and Sea suite after I went to bed. I often get my best ideas while I sleep!!!!
The base is Sahara Sand. I used a piece of the DSP on which I randomly embossed some shells in gold from the stamp set. I used Versamark and Gold embossing powder and heat set it.
I then proceeded to make the card. I cut out three 4cm squares from the embossed DSP and laid them on So Saffron card stock. I mounted a large piece of the embossed DSP on the Sahara Sand and added the squares on top with dimensionals.
I then added a piece of retired ribbon that I had left under the sentiment. You could use some gold metallic thread instead of this. My sentiment was stamped and embossed in gold on Sahara Sand and I cut around it and laid it on So Saffron.
I used one more of the shells from the die cut I had yesterday to add a little interest to the bottom of the card and finished it off with Opal rounds.
Inside the card I used a piece of Very Vanilla and an offcut of the DSP along the bottom. This set really has the ‘wow’ factor!!
