Stampers Anonymous Blog Hop #26

For our Blog Hop this month we were challenged to use something from the January – June Mini catalogue or the Sale-a-bration Catalogue.

I decided to use the Sand and Sea suite for this challenge and to create something suitable for a 12 X 12 frame. Instructions for creating this sampler are available by clicking on the picture below.

The background paper is Sahara Sand and I used Versamark to stamp a random sea pattern to add interest. I used the large sea-side shell die on the Pearlescent Speciality paper, embossed it and cut the shells and some of the seaweed out. I then used Gold embossing powder to highlight some of the shells.

I sponged some of the die pieces with Seaside Spray, Granny Apple Green and Blushing Bride. I then embellished the items with pastel pearls and some Opal rounds. The sentiment was stamped in Misty Moonlight and the Bible verses were printed off on Very Vanilla. The elements were layered on then placed on the DSP which was, in turn, backed by Basic Gray.

This was fun to make and was surprisingly quick to assemble! I hope you like it!!!
