Our challenge this month is recreating the following image.
I decided to take a break from making Christmas cards and use the ‘Friends are like Seashells’ stamp set and embossing folder from the Annual catalogue.
I chose Crumb Cake as the first layer of this card and embossed it with the Seashells 3D embossing folder. I then placed a piece of Soft Suede cardstock on top and for the top layer, I used a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock. This was embossed with some of the seashells in Versamark and I added gold and copper embossing powders.
The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla and cut into a tag using the Banners Pick a Punch. Behind the sentiment I added a piece of Gold Shimmer ribbon and some Gilded Gems to each end of the sentiment.
The whole card was placed on a Very Vanilla base. I can imagine this card in Soft Seafoam or maybe even Blushing Bride. This is such a lovely set it has been good to revisit it!!

Oh I love this, Elizabeth! So pretty! And I agree, I can see it in those other colours too – even Mint Macaron, or Balmy Blue. So lovely!
Definitely. Wish they had also continued the DSP!!
Very striking, I love all the embossing.
