This month we had a layout challenge and I decided to use Peaceful Place DSP for my contribution.
I fell in love with this DSP when I saw it in real life. It shimmers and sparkles, but I haven’t used it much. For this card, I used a base of Basic Grey and then used the DSP to be the star of the card. I added a strip of Silver foil on top of the first layer and then a contrasting DSP on top.
The sentiment is from Happy Holly-Days. It was embossed with Versamark and Silver Embossing Powder. I cut it out with the Tasteful Labels Dies. I fell in love with these at Stamp Camp last weekend. I daubed a little Basic Grey on the edge of the sentiment and add a Rhinestone Basic Jewel. This was raised on dimensionals and placed on the card.
I really love the effect of this card and am keen to make some more.
