I fell in love with the Winter Meadow suite as soon as I saw it in the catalogue and was not disappointed when it arrived. The colours are so beautiful. I loved what they had done with the ‘quilted style’ card on Page 36 of the catalogue, but again wanted to add my own touch to it.
I cut out lots of mini squares using the Stylish Shapes from a sheet of the DSP. I placed these randomly but neatly on to the Basic white background, leaving a little space around each one. Some needed to be cut to size to fit the image, but the amazing thing is that there was little to no wastage as I could use small pieces as well. I added a piece of Silver and White Glitter ribbon as a border between this and the ‘B’ side of the paper (it is tucked under the ‘B’ side of the paper. The layers were then placed on Blueberry Bushel cardstock.
