This month we had a colour challenge using the colours Blackberry Bliss, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. They are very reminiscent of Autumn , but my card has a touch of late Summer about it!! I used the Dainty Delight stamp set. I do love this set and the versatility of it and have used it before. It is available in the Annual Catalogue.
I stamped the image on Watercolour Paper in Memento Black and then used water painters and the challenge colours to colour it. A little ‘Wink of Stella’ added to the flowers to highlight them.
All layers were cut out using different sized Deckled Rectangles dies and the image was then placed on DImensionals on the Old Olive Base. The sentiment is from the same stamp set. I did do some light watercoloring of the background as well with Old Olive. To finish the card off, I added some Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the image.
I was very pleased with the result and hope you enjoy it too.
